Adams Electric was proud to serve as the electrical contractor for the construction of Wynwood House Personal Care Home, a new senior living facility located in Boalsburg, PA—just outside of State College. As a ground-up build, this project called for a comprehensive electrical strategy from the earliest design phase through final commissioning. The result is a modern, safe, and energy-efficient care home that serves the needs of residents and staff alike.
Adams Electric was brought in early in the planning process to help map out a full-service electrical solution tailored to the unique requirements of a senior care environment. That meant taking into account not only code compliance and energy efficiency, but also safety, ease of use, and system reliability. From the main service entrance to the last light switch, every detail had to meet the needs of both residents and caregivers.
Scope of Work
- Complete Power Distribution – Engineered and installed a scalable, code-compliant distribution system to support the facility’s diverse electrical loads, from kitchen equipment to resident room outlets.
- Interior & Exterior Lighting – Designed and installed efficient lighting solutions to create a warm, welcoming environment while maximizing visibility and energy performance. Outdoor lighting was also critical for security and nighttime navigation.
- Fire Alarm System Installation – Installed a full-coverage, addressable fire alarm system to ensure the safety of all occupants and meet local and state code requirements for healthcare facilities.
